Weather Forecast

When it comes to air travel, we know you have a choice. That’s why when you FLY MO we promise to do all we can to make your trip convenient, easy and stress free. We hope you enjoy all our airport amenities and look forward to serving you.

Here are a few tips to make your time at the airport a little more of a relaxing and pleasant experience.

The Transportation Security Administration constantly updates its policies to make your travel safe. For a comprehensive list of travel tips, please visit the TSA web site.

PACKING YOUR LUGGAGE

  • Airlines allow one carry-on bag and one personal item per passenger, which may be a briefcase, purse, laptop, or items of similar size.
  • Usually, airlines allow two checked bags per passenger. They must weigh less than 50 lbs. and the height + width + length of each bag cannot exceed 62" total. Baggage allowances may vary by carrier or class; check with your carrier before you pack.
  • Keep valuables, undeveloped film and medicine in your carry-on luggage.
  • Avoid packing prohibited items. See TSA’s list of prohibited items.
  • Place identification tags on and inside of all baggage.
  • Whether packed or carried on, leave gifts unwrapped; TSA may open them for inspection.

ARRIVE EARLY

  • Sunday mid-day, Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings are the busiest times at Mobile Regional Airport: more traffic, longer lines at ticket counters & security check points. Plan accordingly.
  • Airlines ask passengers to be at the airport 90 minutes before a domestic flight and two hours before an international flight.

BRING PROPER DOCUMENTS

  • Airlines require a government issued photo ID.
  • Bring your Boarding Pass or get one at the ticket counter.
  • It's a good idea to have your reservation confirmation number if you are using an E-ticket.
