In May, the Mobile Airport Authority accepted proposals from seven car rental agencies interested in locating in the airport terminal: Hertz, National, Enterprise, Alamo, Avis, Dollar and Thrifty. Of these seven companies, six will be located in the airport terminal, and one, Thrifty, will be located directly in front of the Airport across Airport Blvd.
The reorganization of the car rental agencies will not affect passengers. According to Travis Greene, Project Director, “passengers will have the same number of options as before. The only changes passengers may notice are new rental company locations and parking spaces. The new car rental agency structure will allow better flow into and out of the airport parking lot. Passengers should be very pleased.” | ||
