Q. How early should I arrive at the airport?
A. Most airlines require their passengers
to be checked in for their flight 90 minutes before the scheduled
departure time. Please check with your airline to obtain their

Q. Where can I park?
A. Mobile Regional Airport offers
passengers long-term and short-term parking lots. Valet parking
is also available in the front of the terminal. More

Q. How do I use valet parking?
A.
Bring your car to the valet kiosk at the passenger drop-off curb.
A valet attendant will meet you. If no attendant is present, wait
with your car until one arrives. More

Q. Can I drive up to the terminal to drop
off or pick up passengers?
A. Yes. The roads in front
of the terminal are open. The airport also offers 30 minutes of
free parking in the long-term and short-term parking lots.
Q. Can I use curbside check-in?
A. Yes. Curbside check-in is available.
Passengers using curbside check-in should still allow more time
for increased security screening during the check-in process.

Q. Where do I check in?
A. All passengers should check-in
at the downstairs ticket counters or at the curbside. A boarding
pass or an e-ticket receipt is required to pass through security
screening.

Passengers are encouraged to pack their
carry-on bag with only items they need immediate access to upon

Q. How many carry-on bags am I allowed?
A. The TSA allows one (1) carry-on
bag, in addition to a briefcase, purse, laptop, or diaper bag.
Q. Can I still bring cell phones, PDAs
and laptops on the plane?
A. Electronic items are allowed
through security and will be thoroughly inspected by security
personnel. You should remove your laptop from its case and place
it in a bin at the checkpoint. All other electronic items should
be placed in your carry-on bag.
Q. Who is allowed through the security
screening point?
A. Only ticketed passengers with
a boarding pass are allowed through the security screening point.
If you have a medical, parental, or other specific, verifiable
need to accompany a ticketed passenger, please check with your
airline to determine how they would like you to proceed. (Numbers

Q. What about my film?
A. Do not place photographic film in checked luggage. The
ticketing counter security scanners (EDS machines) will damage
all film speeds. Place film in your carry-on bags. The checkpoint
scanners will not harm film, however you may request a hand inspection
of high speed films. Please note that international travel rules
differ, and not all airports perform hand inspections. Check the
airport's policies before traveling.
