Delta Upgrades Two Daily Atlanta Flights to Better Serve International Travelers


Beginning June 5, 2008 Delta Airlines will upgrade two daily nonstop flights to Atlanta. These flights currently utilize a 50-seat regional jet. Delta will upgrade one jet to a 2-class, 70-seat, RJ900; Delta will upgrade the second jet to a 2-class, 142-seat, MD-88. The upgrade starts on June 5th and will run through the summer.


These upgraded flights will include both first class and coach seating and will better accommodate those traveling to and though Atlanta. Delta offers direct flights from Atlanta to Dusseldorf, home of ThyssenKrupp, as well as Frankfurt, Paris, London...


Delta Airlines has made it clear that these new flights are considered temporary but would be made permanent if the Mobile community supports them as they have Delta's current service.
