The Fairhope Brewing Company is a labor of love embarked upon by five people with two goals: brewing great beer and bringing it to the thirsty beer-drinkers of Lower Alabama.
At FBC, we’re just a bunch of beer geeks who have all pondered the same question: “With breweries popping up everywhere else in Alabama, why not in the southern part of the state?” Rather than sit around a bemoan the answer, we decided to do something about it, and the Fairhope Brewing Company was born.
The Fairhope Brewing Company is located at 914 Nichols Ave., just a block off Highway 98 in Fairhope, Ala., and less than five minutes from beautiful downtown. Our taproom will soon be open for business, offering a comfortable atmosphere to meet up with friends, enjoy a variety of our hand-crafted beers and play some darts. Look for FBC beers on tap soon at your favorite Gulf Coast bars and restaurants, from Fairhope to Daphne, Mobile to Orange Beach and everywhere in between.
"If there is a Norman Rockwell town in the South, this is it," an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article once proclaimed about our funky little Eastern Shore town. We like to think that if Rockwell had painted his vision of Fairhope, it would have included a cool little brewery just off Highway 98.
